I'd dated his brother.
He didn’t remember and I wish I could forget.
I may have sworn off the Wright family a long time ago. But when I returned home, Jensen Wright crashed into my life with the confidence of a billionaire CEO and the sex appeal of a god. Even I couldn’t resist our charged chemistry, or the way he fit into my life like a missing puzzle piece.
Too bad he’d forgotten the one thing that could destroy us.
Because Jensen Wright doesn’t share. Not with anyone. And if his brother finds out, this could all go down in flames.
When it all was said and done, was he the Wright brother?

This book was makes me think of that country song, I got the boy she got the man.  Except in this story, it is her long time crush.   With age comes beauty and for Emery she grows up and becomes a stunning woman with the tomboy hiding just under the surface.

Jensen is determined to never fall into the trap of emotions again.  He has been burned and swears that once is enough.  What he doesn't expect is to have a woman blindside him out of nowhere and breaking all the rules he set for himself... bet we all know that rules are made to be broken.

I found myself relating with the love lost in this story.  I also can relate with what it is like to have trust issues.  When you have been burned from the one person you thought loved you with every thing, then it is hard to get over.   You find yourself constantly looking over your shoulder.  For the other person this is very hard to deal with, but if they truly love you then they will understand.  For Jensen and Emery they both have the scars from being burned and it pulls at them from all directions.  Learning to trust again is hard, but as we find out sometimes it is well worth the internal fight to win the one person who will forever love you.  This book is a wonderful read and will show you that yes there is always someone for everyone.  You may just have to kiss a few frogs first.
