This book is up and down in a way.  It gives us the major components, a love story, drama, and then the ending.  It is a steady read and over all it will keep your attention and you will find yourself looking for the HEA.

Overall this book is enjoyable.  I think that I might have liked it more had I read the other books in the series even though this is a standalone.  I would have liked to have had more contact and more of a relationship with the characters involved like Luke's brother, pack leader, and a few others.  This book is a bit different from most of the shifter books that I have read due to the fact that it has multiple types of shifters in relationships.

So overall would I say that this is a book to read, yes.  Did I enjoy it, yes.  Would I read it again, truthfully, probably not.  It is a good read but it did not reach out and grab me or give me the warm and fuzzies.
