Taboo. Wrong. Off limits.
I know the drill. I know the rules.
But damn, if he doesn’t get under my skin.
And into my bed.

There’s no reason for a woman like me,
Successful, established, independent,
To ever be sleeping with a younger man.
A younger man with a hard, rugged, sculptured body.
A body that can go all night.

All night.
I can’t resist, can’t turn him down.
Can’t walk away.
Because I’ve never known pleasure like this.
Chase Nolan walked into my life and disrupted my perfect little world.
And made it so much better.

Enjoy it while you can, Jillian.
Because there’s no way there’s a future for us.
After all, is he barely even legal?

** Full-length standalone romantic comedy meant for adults only **

This was my first novel by Bree Dahlia, and I have to say that she really took an interesting turn on this one! It was fun, it was cute, and it really didn't matter the age difference between the heroine and the hero. This was a novel that I didn't really have to think too much about. While it wasn't predictable there were definitely moments that left me scratching my head, and wondering what would happen next. The characters were fun, outgoing, and flowed easily with the story line.

Main character, Jillian (aka Jills) was shy, and a bit reserved when it came to her social life, and I loved that Ms. Dahlia made the reader feel that same shyness, and apprehensiveness come to life throughout the pages. Jillian has been through a divorce, one that leaves her feeling sour of her ex-husband's new big-lipped beau, and it takes on a comical name calling game throughout the novel. But, a younger, more down to Earth model waltzes into her life in the middle of the local music festival, and everything turns to mush for her life - work, social matters, everything goes down the drain when she meets, and spends a cramped few moments with Chase.

He didn't expect it to happen like that. It was supposed to be a one time thing. He asked for her number, and lo and behold it was the number for the local morgue. When a chance meeting happens again by no help of Jills best friend, Perry, Jills tries to push him away. Tell him no way in hell is she going through more than just the one night stand that they'd already had. Something clicks later in the book, and will leave the reader, Jills, and hell whoever may potentially read over you shoulder panting for more.

A bold four bars to Ms. Dahlia!

Bree Dahlia resides in the Midwest, a place known for its steamy summers and bitterly cold winters.

A fan of the sultry heat, she can be found playing outdoors until the temperature drops. Once the cold hits, she spends her time reading or writing next to the fireplace with a hot drink in her hand.

Specializing in strong spirited women and the hot alpha males who love them, her stories range from lighthearted romances to sizzling erotica, with many shades in between.

Love in real life does not always have a happy ending, but that is what her psyche craves and what is most often reflected in her stories.
