Damn. I have NO idea what to think about this novel. This was one hell of a ride, and honestly, I am SO worried for Chloe. This was emotional, opens A LOT of potential wounds for multiple people, and was absolutely downright dark. Never once did I think things were going to end well for Miles, nor Chloe. When their getaway trip turns into her nightmare from hell, she knows that things aren't and haven't been what they've seemed at all. This novel will leave your head spinning, your heart racing, and so many unanswered questions that will have you questioning everything going on from SECRETS AND LACE. This is a dark book, and if you have any sort of triggers, I do not recommend it. HOWEVER, if you want a roller coaster of a ride, a crazy story line, and characters that you won't get out of you head, pick up SECRETS AND TEARS now!
Dori Lavelle, is a mother, wife, and a sucker for happy-ever-afters and mint chocolate.
Growing up, Dori read a lot, and when she wasn't happy with a particular ending, she wrote a different one, just for herself. Before long, she was writing stories when she should have been doing homework. The time has come for her to share the stories she cooks up in her head.
