It’s her turn to drive.
Men take from Jana. Her dad and brother: money. Stage-side gawkers: her dignity. Still, she finished nursing school, won a spot in Manhattan’s top ER—thanks to no man. But when her dad’s business and heart fails, ever-loyal Jana Park must return to the stripper’s pole. Now even her boss’s chauffeur ogles her in the rearview. Faux-kindness—and irrefutable heat—aside, she glares back.
Because screw ’em all.
Chauffeur Antonio Ruiz is done with his cheating wife, the city, the almighty buck. His seaside home in Mexico calls. One last gig for his biggest client, the city’s strip club king, then he’s out. Except that the sharp, exotic, petite powerhouse of a woman he’s been hired to drive—day in-day out, glaring at him with those deep, solemn eyes—takes him over. If he could pierce her shield of doubt, he’d bring her home, far from this hell.
But, no. Jana’s got to take the wheel and drive. Away from her family’s abuse, her boss’s clutches…and toward Antonio’s true brand of love.
The road’s rocky. Will they make it to paradise? Or will it all go south… in the city.

Jana has always longed to be a nurse and after a rough upbringing of picking up the pieces from her loser of a brother, she was able to put herself through school to accomplish that dream. Jana never thought that she would have to dance on a stage again, to earn money. However, after her fathers heart attack and the serious health scare, he could no longer work the hours that is n needed to keep the family store afloat. Jana to the rescue -- again.

Antonio was a limo driver. This was his business, his livelihood. He had some winners for clients. One awful one in particular and he swore he would not allow himself to be treated as someone's show boat or playboy. Antonio wants to go back home to Puerto Vallarta and have the life that HE has always dreamt of. A devoted wife and kids. Oh, how he longs for kids. If he could just get to that magic number in his savings, that will allow him that freedom, he is on his way. One last job driving for the strip club king will get him to where he needs to be.

It just so happens that Jana will be that client. Her boss at the strip club has hired Antonio to drive Jana around. She doesn't feel the need for it, but he insists. Will the two become close? Will she have to dance at another raunchy strip club or will her brother step up and help his family as he should?

This story started off a bit slow for me, but I am happy to say that it did pick up. There were many characters that had me needing to re-read certain sections, so that I could keep up. There is a positive spin to having many characters, as not enough makes it dull and boring. I am interested to see where Rissa takes us next! Enjoy the dance ...
