From New York Times Bestseller Pepper Winters comes a timeless love story answering the question of what happens when everything is stripped away.

"There is a message for everything. From handwritten to verbal, seen and unseen. Messages exist all around us."

But what if you don't see?
What if you don't understand?
What if, by ignoring the message, your life is never the same again?

Estelle Evermore morphed from nobody to somebody overnight.

Galloway Oak put his past behind him and endeavored to make his fortune using his trade.

Two strangers.
One plane.
Multiple unseen messages.

From sky to island, they find neither fame nor skills can save them. Stripped from society and left alone to survive the elements, the very task of staying alive outweighs all other needs.

Until survival turns to desire.
And desire turns to danger.

Unseen Messages deserves so much more than 5 stars. This novel will rip your heart out. Absolutely decimate you. I have never read anything by Pepper Winters, and this novel alone has turned me into a huge fan of hers. (Pepper Winters reading spree, here I come!) Anyways, this is a must read for 2016. Hell, it's a must read for years to come because of the underlying story, and morals, and message that comes to light as the group stranded on an island struggle to change their lives into something that will sustain them for years to come.

Estelle Evermore doesn't take chances. She likes her life the way it is, and almost seemed to panic the day her friend allowed a video to leak onto YouTube that turned her into a overnight singing sensation. All the signs told her not to do it. From the moment she stepped into the airport everything screamed at her to stop what she was doing. Heading home was wrong. When the plane jolts, and sends baggage flying through the cabin, she panics. Stuffing her puffer jacket with small unnecessary items, she laughs at herself upon landing safely in Fiji. Upon stepping off the plane she notices the messages don't stop. She does something completely off the wall. Something nobody would expect her to do. And it changes her life. Forever.

The man had been watching her. Watching her as she struggled to get onto the plane. Watched as she panicked, stuffed her jacket, and shoved items into pockets. He watched as she shakily got off the plane, and touched hard ground once more. He watched as she, exasperated as he was, gathered her overnight ticket to a local hotel. When his own plans get foiled by the impending weather, he does everything in his power to ensure he arrives where he needs to be. Galloway Oak is no stranger to messages telling him not to do something. Only difference is that he ignores everything that points towards a bad omen, and moves forward with his own plans, dragging a mass of people down with him.

This. Book. This book was outstanding. All 590 pages. The meaning of survival has never been truer when Estelle and Galloway struggle with their lives on a deserted island for years. The best part was that this book was expanded over a period of time. It wasn't just, "Oh! Stranded!" and then two chapters later, "Oh! Rescued!" No, Pepper Winters really put her time into this book. The fact that there is some truth to this book was just heart wrenching. I'm not sure the full story, but the blurb that Pepper Winters places in the beginning of the novel really heeds warning to the reader prior to reading.

As I said before; a must read for 2016. You feel fall in love with Estelle, and Galloway, and their story.
