Gabby Morgan isn’t looking for love. Not even a little romance. Following a rocky past that she’d just as soon forget, she’s determined to focus on the future. One that most certainly doesn’t involve the tough-as-nails, short-on-words, hot-as-hell biker…or his kid.

Blake Mahone may not be done with women, but he’s finished with relationships. Then Gabby Morgan enters the picture. She’s flawless, refined, and as his kid’s teacher, way out of his league. She acts like she hates him, but her eyes tell a different story. Before he knows it, Blake finds himself hot for teacher, and he’s more than ready to learn all her secrets. Now all he has to do is convince her to give him a shot…without getting them both killed in the process.

The Spartan MC's president Blake Mahone is unlike most MC presidents.  He is strong, dominant, loyal, and most of all a devoted father.  The love that he has for his son is true down to his soul.  When he is forced to make a decision on whether or not to become Ash's primary parent he doesn't bat an eye.  This decision is what leads him straight to Gabby Morgan.

Gabby is hiding a past that she is very afraid of.  She knows that at any given moment everything can change.  But, even knowing that she could have to face her worst nightmare, she decides to establish roots and get some normalcy.  What she doesn't expect is to come face to face with Blake.  He is everything she doesn't want, but everything she is drawn to.  Add to that the smaller version who pulls her in and she just can't seem to walk away.

This is a good read if you are just starting to dip your tastes into the MC romance world.  It is not as hard core as some of the other MC books that I have read.  This one is also not as violent.  Now, don't take that as in saying that there is no violence because there is some.  The thing is, is that the Spartan riders try hard to keep things on the up and up, and
Blake holds family very strong and close.  The true GRIT of this book is what makes it such a great read.  I also like the fact that it is a book that flows very smoothly.  It seemed like it took me no time at all to finish it, and when I did, I found myself wanting more.  I would love to see what direction Blake and Gabby take.
