A random hookup too hot to handle? Never say never.

In a grueling game of cat-n-mouse with her step-uncle, it’s Margo’s move.

On the run, she does a body slide right into the arms of a recently discharged Marine. Outside of a crazy fling, there is zero room in her life for men. Distractions are dangerous to her health.

From working a fence line and dealing with cattle, Rod McLemore is thrust back into the line of duty. And he promptly fails. He crosses the line in a no-brainer mission: go and get the girl. On no hands is he prepared for Margo or her smart-mouth, right hook, and cargo to hide.

Margo and Rod are as volatile as flint and gunpowder. Bordering on taboo, their raw attraction is a recipe for disaster. Especially when the stakes are raised.

Their stormy love affair forces them over the edge and out of their comfort zones as they wrangle in-laws, Mother Nature, and a slick conman. A regular trial by fire. But a battle worth fighting means taking a stand and they'll do whatever it takes to stay together. Even if it means they have to lie, cheat, steal.
Or kill.

Margo Santero.
Riding in a rodeo with a pack of adrenaline-hyped cowboys isn't what it was cracked up to be. On the run since my mom died, I found out the hard way everyone has a price. And trust is a commodity. This isn't the lifestyle I want, but neither is the demented offer my step-uncle tosses my way. He ups the ante, threatening my horse, forcing me to bolt. One day I'll fix Axel for good. For now, I've gotta a run.

Rod McLemore.
She stormed into my life. A beautiful hurricane with dark secrets, blinding curves, and a smart-mouth I should kiss into submission. She's on the run and needs my help. Not that she listens. But if it’s the last thing I do, I’m going to make her mine. Even if it means I have to lie, cheat, deal with her horse from hell...
Or get out my M9. Won't be the first time I’ve pulled the trigger.

STORM WARNING: This is a seismic erotic romance, detailing a barely-legal runaway and a dirty-talking McLemore. If a fiercely protective aka alpha-male cowboy lights your fire, then you've come to the right ranch.

Attention Wal-Mart shoppers:  The end of the universe isn't in Austin.  It's here.  The place where having sex among family members just got real.

Welcome to Too Hot To Handle.  This book goes way beyond just it's title.  It is full of steaming sex, hot little statements, and of course who can handle a woman who is full of "Spitfire"?

This is just part of the pull of this book.  We meet Rod and Margo who unknowingly find each other at the airport and engage in what should have been a one time hook up, but turns out to be fate throwing a wicked wrench into their plans.  Rob was given one mission by his cousin Brandon, get the girl and bring her to her sister at Evermore.  Not a problem right?  This brings to mind that statement famous last words of a fool.  Rob finds himself in an position he has never been in before, not wanting to let the woman go, and this woman is going to turn him inside out before it is all said and done.

Margo is shouldering some serious burdens.  While trying to protect her sister, Mia, and her father, she has basically signed her soul over to the proverbial devil Axel Campesino, her step-uncle.  While trying to figure away out from under his finger and salvaging her family's security.  For Margo, trust doesn't come easy and letting someone else help to shoulder the burden just isn't possible.  But, Rod McLemore isn't just somebody and he has found away inside Margo's soul that just want let her walk away.

This story has so many different angles.  From both Rod and Margo dealing with their own demons, to trying to shoulder the struggles of each other, to trying to deal with the issues in front of them, it seems as if the world is against them.  But, together, they make a strong front and accomplish more than they are capable apart, which in turn kinda scares them both.  The way that they are thrust into facing their own issues, problems, and feelings for each other will have your heart beating wildly.

This book will keep your heart beating wildly, your desires ramped up, and you sitting on the edge of your seat.   It goes way beyond that of just a sexy cowboy and his girl.  It has been awhile since I have had a cowboy pin me to my chair and want to keep hold of the book in front of me.  Not to mention the banter that seems to fly between these two, never leaves a dull moment.  For a long book, it will keep you glued to the pages.  Be prepared for a long night of steamy reading.

"We're in free fall together. Like a building ablaze, the whoosh to my brain caused a back draft.  I melted worse than all the other bouts of instant dissolving I'd already done around him.  How could this happen?  One week and one day.  No pair of idiots..."  ~Margo~

"I could fith the fall butt for what?  The risk of losing Mrgo was too great.  my original mission of go and get the girl developed into one simple message, branded into my soul:  KEEP THAT GIRL.  The mission was tatooed on the inside of my chest.  Expanding and contracting with each breath that I took and would forever take." ~Rod~

With nix to lose, I rose without breaking eye contact with the little minx, and walked a direct line over to her. Any second, I considered I might get to the door and have it slammed in my face. But from the way this girl held her ground, I reconsidered; any other woman sure, but not her. She rolled her lush bottom lip between her teeth, while a pair of dimples bracketed her mouth and played a game of hide-n-seek with my brain.
Her face got a little flushed, and the heat from her unwavering gaze pulled me to her stronger than a magnet on all my senses. A few steps closer, and I questioned my sanity.
Now, I was near enough to stare down in her dark eyes that weren’t brown, but a deep smoky blue. An electric connection surged between us. Serious voltage like a mule kick to my chest. As we stared into each other’s eyes, I absorbed the novel sensation that I was speechless. A lifetime of glib comments had decided to pack up and head for the hills.
“Is there something I can do for you?” she asked. “You keep staring at me like you’ve got a problem.”
Her spitfire tone jump-started the faulty wiring in my head. “Sweetheart, the only issue I’ve got is I don’t know your name. And, I don’t have your number.”
Her eyes flashed fire. “Pretty full of yourself. Aren’t you?”
“Not really. More like operating on full tilt for a night. After that, I’m running on fumes. But if you’re in the market for a good time as in a one-time deal, I’m your man.”
Pink hit her cheeks. I waited.
She let her gaze roam from my face to my chest. “Look, Romeo…” She flicked her tongue over her plump bottom lip and I chuckled.
See, this dance I’ve done—same as her—being checked out by a potential lay. “Tell me what’s running through your mind. Darlin’, I’m all ears.”
“And some,” she shot back.
Grinning, I relaxed. It wasn’t that I was full of myself. But being six-three and after working on a ranch since I could hold a fork, then joining the Marines, I had what she was looking for. There wasn’t an ounce of extra on my body—unless you counted my…
