Ava Cameron has stars in her eyes. When the feisty designer moves to NYC after graduation with her best friend, things are finally clicking into place.

But now their brand new label, Travesty, is under attack.

The man leading the charge is the hottest hookup Ava ever had. One she never wanted to see again...

Nate Townsend might be from the right schools, the right neighborhood and the right family. But under the surface, his scars run deep.

When the society prince and the loud designer come face to face on a case that could decide Ava's future, sparks fly.

Nate's not about to let Ava forget she's the only person who knows his secrets. And Ava’s walking the line between getting Travesty back on track and being dragged into the gutter by one stubborn young lawyer planning to take her down.

If Nate Townsend didn’t make the gutter look so damn good...

Holy batflaps, Batman! This novel. This novel took me a day to read. A. Day. Now, I usually read a full-length novel in about a day. That is no shock, BUT it has been a while since I honestly sat down with a book, and really just stopped everything going on in my life to do nothing but read. I really want back to the world with Ava, and Nate. They are currently in the top 5 for my list of 2015 book couples. I was rooting for them the entire time, and I do hope that they make an appearance in the next novel of the Travesty Series.

Ava has finally made the pus to move to New York with her best friend, Lex. The dynamic duo - as I would call them - have made it to the big apple with one thing in mind; get their clothing line out to as many people as humanly possible. When a lawsuit is filed against them for plagiarizing another clothing artist's design, all hell breaks loose - in more ways than just one. Ava never expected to see the bright blue eyes that she had comforted only 7 months prior staring down at her from the opposite end of the large table. She never expected the connection they had felt only months ago, come slamming back into her life with a force that knocked the wind out of her.

She tried - God, she tried SO hard to leave Nathan Townsend alone. To ignore the glances stolen across the room at one another, to the night that he seemed to have lost himself from a simple memory, only to have him snap back to reality and physically lose himself within her. Let me just say, there are some scenes that are highly R-rated in this novel! As I stated before, I was rooting for Ava, and Nate the entire time. The ending will blow you away, and if you're like me, will only leave you wanting more of the hot lawyer, with little miss Ava.

Miss Piper Lawson really did a great job on this novel. While it was the second novel in a series, I did not feel lost, confused, or left wondering who was who at all in Stripped. This is an easy, get-sucked-into novel, that I had no issues breezing through for the day. The characters were well developed for being a second novel, and not reading it in order. The story line was amazing, and really pulled the reader in, as well.

A brilliant 5 bars to Miss Piper Lawson on this great novel! I look forward to the next novel in this series, and cannot wait to see which couple I fall in love with next!

I love reading and writing stories about sassy, sexy, smart girls and the guys who fall hard for them. My main household expenditures include books, shoes, and chocolate, not necessarily in that order. Coffee = life (and I’ll defend it accordingly, especially when cornered). I have two business degrees, neither of which I’ve managed to turn into a fashion label (boo).

Home is Canada plus sunny winter escapes. Feel free to stalk me @piperjlawson,facebook.com/piperlawsonbooks, or write to me at piperjlawson(at)gmail.com. Hearing from you would make my day (for real – I’m not just saying that.)!
