Beauty is about to tame her beast...

Researcher Maggie Donovan has no luck with men, and it doesn't help that she can't keep her eyes off of her sexy boss - the one everyone else in the office calls The Beast. Relationships in the office are forbidden. So no one is more surprised than Maggie when she pretends to be his fiancée to save him during a difficult situation. Not only has she put her job on the line, but the future of the company.

Billionaire Benjamin Gale III doesn't believe in love or romance, but the look on his mother's face when Maggie tells her that she's his fiancée is worth millions. Instead of firing her for her insubordination, he goes along with the ruse. In his arms-and in his bed-she'd be everything he could ever want…which is why he can't have her.

But if he doesn't let her go, they'll lose everything…

Maggie Donavan has finally found a job that she loves, and a boss who she secretly drools over.   She is working to try and help her parents so she knows that she must do everything possible to keep her job, but when Benjamin Gale's mother steps into the picture and threatens her son, Maggie can't help herself but to step in to defend the hard working man.

Benjamin Gale, the CEO of his families business, has done everything possible to step up to the plate and fill his fathers shoes.  His mother on the other hand has done everything she can to try and take it away from him.  He has secretly carried a crush on Maggie since she started working for him.  But,  due to rules at work he is forbidden from having any sort of relationship with her.  He knows that his Mother would love nothing more than to take his seat of CEO away from him, and he is determined not to let that happen.

This is one of those books that in a fun way will really take you back to when you were a little kid.  When Diane Alberts says that she truly loved Beauty and The Beast and that she wanted to give us that feeling in this book she truly accomplished her goal.  The fact that she gives it a modern day twist is fun and makes for a wonderful read.  I love how she even references "Benji" as the beast.

Not only are we given a true age old style romance with a new modern day twist, but the humorous little remarks that are thrown in throughout allow us to laugh and enjoy the book through out.  And, of course what romance wouldn't be a romance without that little bit of drama that we all crave so that our beloved characters get their happily ever after.  So if you want that book that will allow you to unwind and let loose of all of the holiday stress, then grab your wine, hunker down, and enjoy this little gem.
