One girl. Two wolves. Promised to one. Destined for the other.

To escape the cruel, overbearing, Kade, the Yukon Pack alpha she’s been promised to, Bailey Whitehill flees her home in search of a new life, one of freedom where she can make her own choices. However, Kade will stop at nothing to make her his and begins the hunt.

As Bailey starts her new life, everything she’s known to be true, is not. Time is of the essence and choices have to be made or consequences suffered. Not only does Bailey fear Kade, but another danger lurks deep in the recesses of the forest. Unbeknownst to her, that danger is what she’s been searching for all along. At the turn of the moon, her fate hangs in the balance . . . and it’s up to her to make the right choice.

Turn of the Moon absolutely blew me away. It brought back memories from one of my all time favorite series. There was constantly something going on to keep you on your toes and quickly turning the pages.

This is the story of Bailey who is a royal alpha female wolf. She is promised to Kade, an evil, mean spirited monster who belonged to a just as evil Yukon pack. Kade only saw her for what she could do for him. With Bailey being a royal, it would only serve to help him. Bailey wanted to find her mate, not be paired up with someone just for the sake of making him happy. On the night that they were to mate and be bonded forever, Bailey took Kade down with what she thought was a permanent solution. She ran and came face first into another pack, a mixed pack. Running also meant that she would never again see her family. This was hard to swallow, but she knew it was something that had to be done.

When she was young, her memory was wiped clean and could not remember anything from her childhood. She meets the most gorgeous alpha male of a new pack, named Ryker. He has the most gorgeous set of eyes she had ever seen. He seemed familiar, but of course had no memory of him, although he has plenty of her.

The pair work together to continue the escape the Yukon pack that is after her. She did take down Kade, therefore his family will seek vengeance. Being taken into this new mixed pack, they will stop at nothing to protect their royal alpha. As time goes on, it seems there is a definite spark between Bailey and Kade. A definite connection, although Bailey fears the unknown. How will Bailey escape Kade's grasp? Will Bailey and Ryker fall in love?  Will they mate at the turn of the moon and make it forever? Or will Kade's pack find her and do as they will?

I have not loved a paranormal book this much in a very long time. It seems that they are all the same, except for Turn of the Moon. It only consists of shifters. That in and of itself had me intrigued. The bond that these packs have is amazing and makes you truly believe that there has to be shifter packs in real life. The characters speak to you. You don't just read about them, you know them. You know their feelings and you know when they're in pain. I found myself gasping and saying "no no no" at times, because it is just that enthralling. We could only wish that we had family and friendships that are this strong. Amazing job L.P. .... I cannot wait for book two!!

Make sure to pick up your copy this morning. It will make your week!
