Just when her romantic life was finally starting to settle in, Sidney Sinclair is buried in an emotional meltdown…
Sidney tried to dismiss the mysterious Adrian McAllister once and for all, but instead found herself falling in love with him, despite her relationship with Ray Ryker.
Now, to complicate things even further, her rock star boyfriend has suddenly gone missing.
On the search to find her boyfriend Sidney begins to rely on Adrian even more. Causing her heart to bounce back and forth between the two men leaving her confused and emotionally exhausted.
But there is one question that trumps them all “Which world is real?”
Is it the world of reality where she has comfortably known and understood Ray for years? Or is it the world of the subconscious where she struggles to understand the eerie presence of Adrian’s passion for her?
When the murderer of her beloved friend is finally revealed, Ray is found to be the next on the fatal list causing Sidney to choose between the two men.
In a life or death struggle with the two men who mean the most to her, she’s left having to choose between Ray’s life, or the addictive Adrian who will do anything to possess her forever…

Just when I thought that I could not love Cynthia Austin, or her books any MORE ... she totally kills it with Between Worlds. Wow. Talk about addicting. This totally packs a punch! There is love, lust, death, power, turmoil. You name it ... Cynthia brought it!

Sidney Sinclair finds herself between worlds in this epic tale of Adam and Eve. Once upon a time, she was known as Eve. Eve fell in love with a man named Samael, also known as Lucifer. Due to the
fact that Eve was an adultress, she and Samael were banished from the Garden of Eden. They were forbid to ever see each other again. Now here is where it gets juicy -- Samael would never give Eve up .. never. He used a tiny amount of blood from each of them and trapped it in an Emerald pendant, also the color of his eyes. He told her as long as she had offspring to carry on her soul, he would find her ... between worlds.

In present day, Sidney has a gorgeous rock star boyfriend Ray, whom she has loved for years. They broke up for a small time period when he cheated on her. Ray realized that Sidney was who he wanted and found his way back to her. As we learned early in the series, Sidney befriended a gorgeous green eyed, black haired man at the store. His name is Adrian. There is something about Adrian that is so appealing. Sid can't pinpoint it, but she feels a strong pull to him.

Sid makes a mistake in judgment and has a romantic night with Adrian. Ray is forever on her mind, but there is just something that continues to bring her back to Adrian. Upon exploring his home, she finds a book that just so happens to tell a tale of Adam and Eve and the pieces start coming together. Sid realizes that the dreams that she has been having, aren't really dreams after all!!!

A powerful force comes to a head and tragedy strikes, bringing Sidney to her knees. Adrian feels that this is how he can make her his, once and for all.

Does love conquer all? Can that love remain through centuries, upon centuries? Will Sidney come to grips with her fate? Who will she choose?

Please, please ... if you like paranormal romance, pick up this series today. I have recommended this series to friends who aren't even fans of paranormal and they love it!! I have a feeling you will search me out and thank me for one of the best reads of your year. Very well done Cynthia ... you continue to just amaze me!!
