Dimpled smile of a boy
Hard body of a man
Sings like an angel
Fucks like the devil

I was stuck between a rock(star) and a hard place.

At fifteen, his poster hung on my bedroom wall. At twenty-five his body hovered over mine. Every girl’s fantasy became my reality. I was dating a rockstar. Yet I was slowly falling for another man. The problem was—the two men—they shared a tour bus.

Flynn Beckham was the opening act.
Dylan Ryder was the headliner.

What happens when the opening act begins to shine so bright, it seems to dim everything else in its wake?

I’ll tell you what happens. Things get ugly.

First off let me start by saying I haven't read a book in one day in a very long time.  I've also never read a book by Vi Keeland before.  I had the pleasure of meeting her a couple of weeks ago and was determined to read one soon when I remembered that I signed up for this blitz and man am I happy that I did.  This book was incredible!

I also realized this weekend just how much I absolutely adore Rock Star novels!  Is there anything sexier than a delicious rock god?  I think not!  Flynn Beckham may be one of the most romantic characters I've ever read. He's delicious, with the dreamy eyes and panty melting grin to the wonderful Uncle side of himself with his niece Laney.  Dylan Ryder is a narcissist, plain and simple. He has been a rock god for 12 years and he doesn't like anyone stealing his or his bands thunder. Then we have Dylan's girlfriend and co-owner of Lucky's Bar in NYC, Lucky Valentine.  Lucky is on the road to getting back on stage, 12 steps at a time.  She's determined to get back up there one day as a promise to her dearly departed father.  When Flynn Beckham comes waltzing into her life, dimples, grin and all she's pretty much hook line and sinker done for but there is always the issue of the rock god boyfriend to deal with.

Torn between two men sharing a tour bus on the road, doing her job as a Voice Coach and trying to be "just friends" with a man that sets your blood to full boil every time he's near is no picnic for Lucky and she's got a hell of a decision to make. Now, usually I'd have an issue with cheating in a book but generally its when the main squeeze in the girl's life is an angel and you can't figure out why she'd leave him. Dylan Ryder isn't necessarily a bad guy but he has been a rock god for twelve years and you don't get the reputation he has with the ladies by being monogamous to a girl who doesn't join you on the road.

The heat between Flynn and Lucky every time they appear together is incendiary.  Hold on your your panties ladies because these two ... are ... on ... fire!  When the kiss finally happens and you've been waiting so long its toe curling and intense!  Nothing is easy for these two throughout the story and you just want to shake Lucky to end things with Dylan or let Flynn go easily so he can have his HEA.  In the end the entire book is angst filled, full of intense moments and heat between two incredible characters that belong together.  Vi Keeland has an incredible writing style that will have you flipping pages, its clear to see why she's a New York Times Bestselling Author and why I'll now be a fan for life!  I can't wait to see what is up next in the Life on Stage Series and any other novels she releases in the future!

Highly recommended!

Vi Keeland is a native New Yorker with three children that occupy most of her free time, which she complains about often, but wouldn't change for the world. She is a bookworm and has been known to read her kindle at stop lights, while styling her hair, cleaning, walking, during sporting events, and frequently while pretending to work. She is a boring attorney by day, and an exciting smut author by night!
