You’re the Charge…

Bad Boy. Screw-up. Good for nothing. Hero. Angel. These were all words Grayson ‘Torren’ Trammel had heard whispered behind his back over his lifetime. What he hadn't heard was ‘quitter,’ and he’d be damned if some little rehab chick, with her beautiful brown hair, and hot, sassy little mouth was going to label him as such.

To My…

Tru knows Grayson’s not for her. He’s too bad. Too hot. Too demanding. Too taken.

She tells herself that almost daily as she helps Grayson get back into fighting shape after a horrific accident nearly ripped his life away from him. That had taken the life of one of the men in his MC.

Grayson is everything her father warned her about, but there’s just something about him that intrigues her. That makes her want more.

The man's a firefighter. How bad could he be?

Apparently, he could be way worse than bad, but he could also be so very, very good. Something Tru realizes, rather quickly, when the two can no longer fight the pull that’s between them.

Now there’s only one word she wants to hear when it comes to him: his.

Charge to my Line was nothing short of spectacular. I was sucked in from the beginning and was consumed the entirety of the book. It was one of those situations that you know you have to work in the morning but continue to read and read until either you are either smacked in the face with your iPad, or just wake up in the morning finding yourself snuggling with it instead.

The book starts with Tru being dared by her roommate/best friend to go and hug a fireman in a bar they are having drinks at. I absolutely loved how this story is fun from the beginning. Tru is a certified occupational therapy assistant and a few months later after the bar charade in walks the same beautiful fireman. This is when Tru gets to formally meet Grayson “Torren” Trammel.

Grayson was injured saving a life in a fire. In order to go back to work, his shoulder needs to some rehabilitation. He is taken aback for a minute when he realizes who his occupational therapist is. Since the day he was graciously hugged at the bar, Grayson couldn’t stop thinking about Tru. Now, he gets a second chance.

Tru is definitely attracted to Grayson and there is a certain pull to this gorgeous hunk of a man, but she was his therapist and that wouldn’t be in her best interest to date her client. Will Grayson and Tru succumb to the pull they have for each other?

This book was the BOMB! Not only was there a hot love story but the suspense was wild! I absolutely love Lani Lynn Vale’s style of writing. The characters meshed so well that you feel like you are in the story. If you have read the other five books in this series, you start to feel as if the past characters are your family. I truly enjoyed every second of this book and honestly didn’t want to put it down. I am super excited for what Lani has in store for us in the future.

I’m a married mother of three. My kids are all under 5, so I can assure you that they are a handful. I’ve been with my paramedic husband now for ten years, and we’ve produced three offspring that are nothing like us. I live in the greatest state in the world, Texas.
