Blog Tour + Review + Giveaway + Bonus: Full Disclosure (A Nice Guys Novel #2) by Kindle Alexander

Synopsis
Deputy United States Marshal Mitch Knox apprehends fugitives for a living. His calm, cool, collected attitude and devastatingly handsome good looks earn him a well-deserved bad boy reputation, both in the field and out. While away on an assignment, he blows off some steam at a notorious Dallas nightclub. Solving the case that has plagued him for months takes a sudden backseat to finding out all there is to know about the gorgeous, shy blond sitting alone at the bar.

Texas State Trooper Cody Turner is moving up the ranks, well on his way to his dream of being a Texas Ranger. While on a two-week mandatory vacation, he plans to relax and help out on his family’s farm. Mitch is the last distraction Cody needs, but the tatted up temptation that walks into the bar and steals his baseball cap is too hard to ignore.

As Mitch’s case gains nationwide attention, how will he convince the sexy state trooper that giving him a chance won’t jeopardize his life’s plan...especially when the evil he’s tracking brings the hate directly to his doorstep, threatening more than just their careers.

This is the reason I read right here! Full Disclosure made me feel so many things and all of them were absolutely delightful.  I picked up the novel as soon as it loaded to my Kindle and off I went.  I couldn't put it down.  I'd be sitting on the couch with my kids, watching the kids take a bath, sitting shot gun in the car on a road trip for the day, all the while thumbing through the pages as fast as I could devour them.  And yet, its one of those novels you don't want to get through that fast.  That's the way Kindle writes.  She makes you want to take your time but you simply can't slow down!

In Double Full, Colt Michaels was attacked while on vacation after meeting back up with the love of his life after a decade apart.  When the doc for the NY Panthers gets called to consult on Colt's condition in the hospital, he gets his son, Deputy US Marshal, Mitch Knox to work the case and figure out who would attack such a public figure.  Now almost a year later, Mitch is sitting on a case that is going cold. He's got no leads and worse off the Government won't pick up the case even though there are obviously 8 related cases associated with events that ended Colt Michaels NFL career.  All the men attacked are out Gay men who had recently been in public view.  Colt was not the intended target, Mitch knows the attack was really supposed to be on Jace Montgomery, Colt's now husband.   But when a Senator's son is the next victim and lands in the hospital, Mitch's window starts closing in to find the perpetrators and get all of the victims living and dead alike, some closure.

Cody Turner is a Texas State Trooper.  He is offered a promotion and goes on some much needed R&R to Dallas for the weekend.  He wants to hit up a Gay club he's heard a lot about.  While he's there he catches the eye of a tattooed, self confident, bad ass who seems to have his sights set solely on Cody for the evening.  When the sexy stranger won't take no for an answer and playfully swipes his Texas Rangers ball cap away, Cody follows him out on to the dance floor and allows himself to get lost in the dark haired bad boy.  But when he sees Colt Michaels and his new husband at the club talking to the stranger, the pieces finally snap into place, this is Mitch Knox, the man who is on the manhunt to find out what happened to Colt almost a year ago.

After a make out session in the parking lot that is sure to light a fire to your libido for the remainder of the book, Mitch and Cody set off on a cat and mouse adventure as they get to know one another.  Mitch being the metaphorical cat that for some reason can't get the mouse off his mind.  He goes after what he wants and won't take no for an answer on why they won't work out.  Cody is out but he certainly doesn't flaunt himself to the world  Mitch is out, proud and loves his life and doesn't stop when Cody feels uncomfortable with PDA's ... he wants the world to see him with his guy and isn't that a slap in the face of reality when your whole life you've been okay with a quick fuck and then move on.  No, Mitch isn't a relationship guy but he feels compelled to be one for the sexy Cowboy that has completely captured his heart, mind and soul, irrevocably.

The sex scenes are off the charts ... it's Kindle, I mean come on, would you expect anything less?  My husband and I have a running joke when it comes to me reading Kindle Alexander. He always asks, "So, how's your book?" I then proceed to look at him like he's grown two heads and respond, "It's Kindle!" and that's all that has to be said!  Simply put, reading Kindle Alexander is an experience that everyone should enjoy at least once in their lives but I feel compelled to do frequently!  Full Disclosure is no exception to this rule.  You get your hot, sweaty sex scenes that are sure to melt any pair of panties!  You get humor in the form of Colt and Mitch always trying to get a rise out of one another.  You get a full range of emotions from crying your eyes out to grinning like a fool and everything in between.  Anytime Cody and Mitch are together, on the phone, or even texting, you're sure to feel something!  This story warms my heart and I'm now looking forward to the next Nice Guys Novel, date of release to be determined at a later date!

Cody's Mom's easy Southern Pecan Pie

Ingredients
3 large eggs
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 cup of light corn syrup
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
1 heaping tablespoon all purpose flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup of pecans, coarsely chopped
1 unbaked homemade or commercial pie crust

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare the pie crust by placing it into an ungreased, regular 9-inch glass pie plate and fluting the edges.

Whisk the eggs together, then whisk in the sugar. Stir in the Karo syrup and the softened butter; mix well. Add the flour and the vanilla; combine well and fold in the pecans.

Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake at 350 degrees for about 55 to 60 minutes or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean. Shield outside edges of the pie with a pie shield or aluminum foil about halfway through cooking to prevent overbrowning.

MeetTheAuthor
Best Selling Author Kindle Alexander is an innovative writer, and a genre-crosser who writes classic fantasy, romance, suspense, and erotica in both the male/male and male/female genres. It's always a surprise to see what's coming next!

I live in the suburbs of Dallas where it's true, the only thing bigger than an over active imagination, may be women's hair!

Usually, I try for funny. Humor is a major part of my life - I love to laugh, and it seems to be the thing I do in most situations - regardless of the situation, but jokes are a tricky deal... I don't want to offend anyone and jokes tend to offend. So instead I'm going to tell you about Kindle.

I tragically lost my sixteen year old daughter to a drunk driver. She had just been at home, it was early in the night and I heard the accident happen. I'll never forget that moment. The sirens were immediate and something inside me just knew. I left my house, drove straight to the accident on nothing more than instinct. I got to be there when my little girl died - weirdly, I consider that a true gift from above. She didn't have to be alone.

That time in my life was terrible. It's everything you think it would be times about a billion. I love that kid. I loved being her mother and I loved watching her grow into this incredibly beautiful person, both inside and out. She was such a gift to me. To have it all ripped away so suddenly broke me.

Her name was Kindle. Honest to goodness - it was her name and she died a few weeks before Amazon released their brand new Kindle ereader. She had no idea it was coming out and she would have finally gotten her name on something! Try finding a ruler with the name Kindle on it.. It never happened.

Through the course of that crippling event I was lucky enough to begin to write with a dear friend in the fan fiction world of Facebook. She got me through those dark days with her unwavering support and friendship. There wasn't a time she wasn't there for me. Sometimes together and sometimes by myself, we built a world where Kindle lives and stands for peace, love and harmony. It's its own kind of support group. I know without question I wouldn't be here today without her.
