Falling apart. Barely breathing. How can I go on without you?
Karly Erikson’s fairy tale ending comes to an abrupt halt as she slowly adjusts to life without being in the arms of the man she loves.

Nicholas Hayes makes a decision, which changes his entire life. Living with the decision he’s made, every day is a struggle. His heart only knows one love-Karly Erikson.

When Karly returns to Wilmington, the choices she makes will put what’s left of her heart on the line. Is she ready to fight for what's truly hers?

Excerpt:
Do you know that feeling when a knife is in your heart, twisting and turning? Do you know what it’s like to have a car run you over a million times? That’s how I’m feeling. Rage builds in me and, instead of screaming and yelling, I sit in front of Larry, numb and frozen.
“I can’t do this, Larry. I’m fucking human, you know? I have feelings!”
He brings me into his arms and tries to calm me down. “I know and that’s what I told him.”
I can’t give Nicholas what he needs, even though it’s what I truly want. I refuse to break up his marriage and be the one that he uses to escape from Jamie. If something is up and he’s doing this because she’s manipulating him, then that’s a different story and I’ll beg him to leave her. I don’t know the whole story and I’m not sure if I even will get the story. A little voice in my head keeps screaming at me to fight for the man I love. But I don’t know if that’s the right answer.
“I’m gonna go lie down. Thanks for the coffee,” I mutter.
Back in my room, in my safety area, I place the steaming cup of coffee on my nightstand and lie down, facing the balcony.
Tearing away from the sun rising, I force my mind back to sleep. It’s been the longest few nights without Nicholas. I don’t know where to go or what to do. I can’t forget him. Every time I close my eyes, I see his eyes, his smile; I see everything. My chest fills with ache. Sitting here crying over him while everyone else is living kills me. The fight in me is slowly going away. Unable to stand the silence I open my music app on my phone and play a song I haven’t heard in a few weeks - our song. It plays over and over again so I can remember our dance and how I felt when he was holding me. Everything feels heavy and When Karly returns to Wilmington, the choices she makes will put what’s left of her heart on the line. Is she ready to fight for what's truly hers?

"Life isn't that easy.  I vow to myself that life is too short.  So I'm going to live it up and dance - dance like I've never danced before.  That's my promise to myself.  A promise I won't break."  ~ Karly

In Vision of Destiny we pick up right where we left off in Vision of Love.  Nicholas is with Jamie, refusing to tell everyone why, but knowing his heart still belongs with Karly.  Karly is trying to deal with the fact that her life that she had grown to love has taken a drastic change and her heart is in a million pieces.  Not only does she long to be with Nicholas, but she desperately misses Emma.

I can say that I fell in love with this couple in Vision of Love and could not wait to get the chance to read and review Vision of Destiny.  I hated that when I finished the first book that it felt that my heart had been ripped out of my chest and I had to wait for the next chapter..aka.. book to come out so that I could try top piece it back together.  Well, let me just say.. S.Moose,  you had me setting with a box of kleenex reading this book.  I felt as if my heart was right there with Karly for every tear that she cried I think I had to try and match her.  This book pulled at emotions that I did not want to reveal.  It has been awhile since a book grabbed a hold of me and would not let go.  This one was one of those.  I got so involved with reading this book that I stayed up almost all night reading and finishing it.  I refused to put it down until I could see what happened with Nicholas and Karly.

I will say that they way that S. Moose wrote this book she will keep you on your toes wanting to find out what will happen next. The roller coaster ride that you get on for this book will have you so emotionally tensed up that you will want to scream out in frustration, but that is not a bad thing, because we all know that if a book pulls you into the story so far that you feel the emotions of the characters then the author as done their job of giving us the ultimate gift.  I will say that the twist and spins that she puts into this books will have you saying I so did not see that coming, or NO NO NO this can not be happening.

Again I loved this books and I am sure that you will too!!!!!

I don’t care if we weren't together for a long time.
When it comes to love, there’s no measurement in time. It’s how love makes you feel and it made me feel whole. I’d give anything to feel that way again.
