Title: His Reverie

Review Source:

I knew from the moment I first saw her she was the one. The only girl I could ever want.

The only girl I could ever love.

She is light.

I am darkness.

She is innocent.

I’ve done too much.

She is good.

I am bad.

She is my every dream.

I should be her every nightmare.

We come from different worlds. She’s…perfect. And I’m…

Somehow she wants me anyway. So we’ll grasp at what we can. We’re going to make this summer count. She’s my secret. And I’m hers.

The problem with secrets is they never last for long. And when others discover we’re together, they’ll do whatever it takes to keep us apart. All I know is: I won’t let them.

Because Reverie Hale? She’s mine

Is life ever how we expect it to be? His Reverie is a great reminder that life is never what we expect it to be.

We first meet Nick as he is leaving prison for a crime he didn't commit. While everyone says that they didn't commit a crime, Nick honestly swears that he in fact did not murder someone. He is released on these pretenses that he in fact did not murder someone. He shifts back into his life with his ex-girlfriend quite easily, and continues his relationship with her even though he is captured by Reverie Hale.

I really did love the characters, and their connection that they have. They really act upon the whole forbidden romance that has evolved between the two of them. I feel that the forbidden love that the two of them share really kept the story upbeat, and interesting. I really liked both, Nick, and Reverie as their relationship grew through the book. I feel that they will have a better understanding of one another when the second book in the series comes out.

The only reason I gave His Reverie a three star is because of the cliffhanger. I am a really impatient reader, and like to read a series that I enjoyed back to back. However, don't let this sway you! If you like forbidden romances, and an interesting story line, this is the book for you.

Make sure to check it out, and one-click it on July 28, 2014 from Amazon!
