It’s Time To Meet A New Kind Of Hero...

Dante Stark has a dark secret--a legacy left to him by his father which is both a blessing and a curse. A traumatic experience as a small boy gave him special powers of healing, but it comes with a price. Destined to wander the world alone to heal others, he's accepted his fate. Until Selina Rogers forces him to confront his deepest fears, erotic desires, and question his capacity to love.

Selina Rogers has made a name for herself at Inferno Enterprises. She's tough, confident and prepared to succeed. She's also built a world she believes is safe, until she's attacked and then saved by a masked stranger. As he helps her heal physically and emotionally, she becomes fascinated by his overwhelming power and gentle touch. Determined to show Dante the love he's been denying himself, Selina surrenders her heart, and dreams of a future with the mysterious man who completes her.

But will his dark legacy destroy them...or save them both...

I would like to start with saying that I was honored to be able to read and review this book.  It surpassed everything that I thought it would be about.

We meet up with Dante as he is talking to his best friend about Inferno and how business is.  His best friend Chase also helps run Inferno as the CEO. As we read into the story and get to know what makes Dante, Dante you can not help but to hope he gets to find his happiness.  The other thing that makes you love Dante is how much he truly is Daniel the mail guy at Inferno.

Selina could not have been written any better in my opinion.  She has managed to over come most challenges that the average person would not have to even deal with, yet is makes her the person that she is.  Even though she is a successful woman, in a man's world, she does not let the make the person she is.  As she shows by her having her conversations with Daniel everyday.

When I really got into this book, I was amazed at how normal the "hero" was.  You could feel your heart hurting for him in the fact that he felt as if he would never be able to have the happiness of a normal man.  He loved his mother deeply, but did she all but ruin his chance to ever find happiness for himself. The way that Jennifer Probst managed to link both angles of Dante' together made the book become a life of its own.  Then to watch as he worked to help Selina and interacted with her made you want more for him through out the entire story.  Even though this book is truly that of complete fantasy because of super powers and such, you find the romance of it making it the much more. It just all meshes in the long run.  It is a beautifully written story that will pull at you for the good guy to come out ahead and to win the girl.  I am so glad to have had the chance to read and review this book.  It is a wonderful story that you will not want to miss out on.
