Lex Keagan isn't your typical woman. Her past has left her broken and afraid, yet she remains bold and successful. As a result of her painful past, love has never come easy; therefore, she’s convinced herself to spend her entire adult life staying busy working at her own company--that is, until her best friend Roni persuades her to give online dating a try. When she concedes, Lex quickly discovers that the world of online dating is nothing like she's ever dreamed. The mysterious charm of her online crush leaves her reluctant and afraid to let love in. As two more men enter her life outside of the online dating world, she's left confused and overwhelmed. Who will she chose? With the deep scars and raw truths her past contains, is anyone capable of accepting the real woman trapped inside, or will she remain alone forever?

Note: This is a story of finding oneself, through the horrors and pains of life. This isn't just a story about love. It's a story about anguish. This is a story about Lex's journey to acceptance.

Caution: This book contains heavy adult sexual context, which may include f/f and/or m/m scenes. Some heavy emotional scenarios, including ones of abuse, might be difficult to read. For ages 18+

WOW! This book is…..hmmmm well…..don’t get me wrong - I LOVED it! But…it’s different! Very different.

I read a LOT of books. At least three a week sometimes more and I’ve not ever come across a book like this. And I can’t help but call myself ignorant!!! Not stupid and not dumb….just not knowledgeable. The twist & turns in this book will definitely keep you glued to your tablet!!!

Lex is one amazing woman. She overcame an abusive father and an abusive boyfriend and barely in her 20’s. Being around her mother’s floral shop she began putting ingredients together and started making her own lip balm. She got such a following that it turned into a small business. This grew and grew and along with her best friend, Roni, they now had a huge cosmetics company.

Lex is all set. She’s got her BFF and several close friends, she's got an amazing house that is decorated how she loves it. She has an incredible wardrobe of couture clothes and shoes as she likes the finer things in life. She has a great company she owns and business is booming. She even has one heck of a secretary, Daniel, and he’s always there for her to….take care of her (wink, wink). She has her routine - she has everything she needs.

However, there isn’t love and passion. She doesn’t really date and never more than once. She’s under the impression (based on some of her past) that love hurts….literally. She doesn’t want to go through that again. Roni completely disagrees and finally breaks her down and gets her to do online dating where she emails with….

Suit Master. She’s LotionLady. She likes him. He’s exactly what she needs. They have the same tastes and enjoy the same things. They’ve been through much the same things. She realizes that she could really like him….too much. So she cuts him off. Will he go away? Will he force Lex to break down her walls she’s built and step outside of her comfortable box?

Lex has taken a big journey already in her life that has been filled with pain and heartache. She has quite a journey left to take. Will she have the courage to trust someone again? Can she be strong enough to love someone?

I really liked this book. S.K. Logsdon is an amazing writer. I completely jumped and freaked out at about 50% when the story takes a COMPLETELY unexpected turn. The story is amazing - it’s about love, acceptance and the desire to have complete happiness. I understand this book might not be for everyone but I think everyone should read it! Definitely recommend!!!

S.K. Logsdon is the author of three series; Stricken Rock, Attraction, and The Circle of Blood. She writes erotic romance novels, full of steam, unpredictability and sass.

A stay at home mom. She enjoys her family, loves cake decorating and is an avid reader.

"I became a writer after being a stay at home mom for the past 9 years. I've always had a passion for reading and the creative nature for writing. Being an only child growing up, I spent hours living in my own world of imagination. Note books were filled with my thoughts and ideas and as an adult I have been lucky enough to turn those creative juices into a product for others to enjoy."

    1. Thank you! I had to consult with some people to make sure I didn't give anything away but still give the book it's due. It's different - but that makes it so much better.
