Every moment, every lifetime, every decision—including her choice to erase—has led Maryah to this.

Two outcomes are possible: an infinite happy-ever-after with her kindrily or the final severing of her relationship with Nathan.

Closer to the enemy than ever before, Maryah unravels the diabolical plan that Dedrick has been manipulating into place for centuries. Revelations, secrets, and lies surface faster than Maryah can process. She doesn’t know who to trust, what to believe, or how to save her loved ones from the desolate future Dedrick is so close to executing.

Guided by an enigmatic raven-haired prisoner, Maryah fights body and soul to save Nathan, her kindrily, and countless others. But is her love strong enough to alter a prophecy written in the stars?

What an incredible ending to an absolutely breathtaking series. The truest of all the star crossed love stories, all of my hopes and expectations were realized in this conclusion to Nathaniel and Marayah's epic love story.

For those of you that read Taking Back Forever and ended on the warm and fuzzy ending before the authors note, you didn't get to see that Maryah ended up in Dedrick's prison prior to Fighting for Infinity. For those of you that did move forward you already knew what was coming and you probably audibly gasped and had the wind knocked out of you prior to starting FFI but at least you saw what was coming. What I love about Karen and continue to love is that she doesn't add back story at nauseam like so many authors do in a series like this.

The story continues after Marayah is trapped and her soul is locked in a prison with Rina, a strange little girl who has been in captivity all her life. She's never been outside the dingy disgusting hell that she lives in and calls home. She cryptic, talks in riddles and annoys Marayah to no end most of the time with her lack of forthcoming information when she already knows everything that is going to take place now that Dedrick has her.

Dedrick is as nefarious as ever with his band of Nefariouns at the ready, mind controlled into doing his bidding. Mary and the Kindrily will stop at nothing once the puzzle pieces start falling into place to unravel Dedrick's evil plot. He's trying to close the heavens to returning souls. He doesn't want anyone to be able to be reborn. He sees something in Marayah. He's ruthless, he doesn't fight fair and he'll use any trick in his arsenal to get Maryah to turn on her Kindrily to join him.

Nathaniel is fierce as ever, not wanting to follow along with Marayah and Rina's plans because they constantly involve putting this new, in the dark version of his beloved soul mate in harms way. The question remains now, can he put faith in her to figure out enough of who she was in time to stop Dedrick from closing the portal to all living souls, or will there truly be an end of days coming for not just their Kindrily, but all souls on Earth?

Such an amazing cast of characters. Dakota emerges in this one as one of my absolute favorites. Sweet, misunderstood Dakota, doodling away at his comic books, believing that after his near death experience that he became an element and his super power is drawing the future. Can't wait for you to read more about him and the rest of the Kindrily.

This was an absolutely incredible story, from page one of Grasping at Eternity, this ultra talented author has kept me spell bound in the magical world that she created. I cried, no really, ask my best friend who just sat on the plane and watched me cry through the last 10% of the book. Some sad and some extremely happy, hallelujah, its about time, tears. But each one of them was well deserved. Karen, you wrote this amazing, soul searing, happiness inducing love story and I feel like you wrote it for me even though we didn't know each other till after GAE came out. You have my love, support and admiration, then, now and eternally!!!

I was born and bred in Baltimore, frolicked and froze in Colorado for a couple of years, and I'm currently sunning and splashing around Florida with my two spoiled rescue dogs. I'm addicted to coffee, chocolate and complicated happily-ever-afters.

If a book is on my Read list then I enjoyed it (3-5 stars). I only rate 5 star books (those I loved so much I will read again and/or because they are by authors I know personally and adore) because I usually don't do reviews and I'd feel bad giving an author 3 or 4 stars without explaining why.

Feel free to friend me. I love meeting other book lovers and I like seeing what people are reading!

Karen will be giving away winner’s choice of a signed copy of any of The Kindrily books.
