You do what you have to do to survive. For eighteen-year-old Liam Newman that means living the life of a gay porn star, a job he loathes. He isn't a star. He's a prisoner and his warden is the man who saved him from the cold Vancouver streets.

Justin has been Liam's next-door neighbor for two years and has had a crush on him for just as long. Oblivious to Liam's porn career, he 's content to mind his own business about Liam's turbulent relationship until the truth stumbles drunk into his apartment one night and he realizes something must be done.

When Liam's boyfriend turned producer decides rent boys make more money than porn stars Liam's nightmare takes a horrible turn. Justin must find a way to rescue him before it's too late.

First let me say that this is my first M/M book read. I wasn't too sure what to expect. I am so happy that I had a chance to read this story.

Liam is a kid from the streets. Dad found out that he was gay at the age of 15 and that weekend, he was kicked out of the house. From then on out, Liam was on his own. He took a job at a local diner, working for his food until the owners took a chance on him and offered him a job. Around that same time, he was approached by a man named Cord, who offered Liam shelter. Little did Liam know at the time that Cord had another objective in mind ... to subject Liam to hours and hours of porn, in turn for food and shelter. It's okay Liam told himself, Cord loves me.

Justin lived across the hall in the same apartment building as Liam and Cord. He worked as a manager at a top notch hotel, named The Rosenthall. Justin was lonely and looking for love. He soon finds himself in lust over a man named Rich, whom he can not seem to get off of his mind.  Rich just got out of a five year relationship, where he found it hard to trust and asked to take things slow. Justin hoped that he could hold out long enough because all he could think about was how great sex would be with Rich.

Justin had no idea what type of life Liam lived, he just knew that he was Liam's solace for relaxation. The two would sit and play video games and drink diet soda, something Cord never allowed. The two had secret crushes on each other, but they never let on.

One night, Cord hit an all time low and put Liam in a dangerous situation. Liam was so upset that he knew that he could never go back to Cord. The fact that he betrayed Liam the way that he did was unforgivable. However, he had nowhere to turn .. nowhere to go. He knew that he would never be able to support himself on the little bit that he earns at the diner. This is where the story takes a turn and an oh so welcome one at that. I can not say more, or I will give the story away, but it takes on the name of the book "Saving Liam", at this point.

Take a chance on this book and buy it. I know that you won't be disappointed. I love the way that the story takes turns between Liam and Cord, and Justin and Rich. It keeps things interesting. I can happily say that I am glad that this was my first M/M book. Happy Reading!
