You might think you know Brad’s story, but think again. There’s so much more to his story than what Valerie told. See Brad before Valerie came into his life and, when he was playing back burner to Ethan, see what Brad was up to when no one else in the band was looking.

Valerie might have thought she and Brad were inevitable and maybe, in the back of his mind, Brad might have felt that way too, but he didn’t just sit around waiting for her. See the secret side of Brad that you had no idea existed. What kept the driving force behind Fully Automatic focused even while his heart was breaking?

I gotta say, Jade did me proud with Brad's story.  I really didn't care for Bullet and you'll see why in my review going live tomorrow morning.  The jumping from Past to Present and seeing how big a douche Ethan was to Valerie throughout their relationship was just super depressing and to me drawn out.

Fully Automatic is Brad's side of the story from Bullet.  It's not necessarily new material.  It's kind of like reading Walking Disaster from Travis' point of view but you get insight into his head in scenes where Abby wasn't there.  Same principal here, there were times in Bullet where Brad would be off for months on end with some girl and you get to see what happened there, who he was with and what they were like together.  Some of it was comical and very sexy but it also just really made my heart ache for the guy.

Brad has loved Valerie since the moment he laid eyes on her and for him, she's the only girl he ever wanted but she was so hung up on being Ethan's anchor his whole life that she felt obligated I think more than anything to be with him.  She felt the need to keep him from falling off the wagon again.  But of course it happened and Brad and Valerie ended up together and that was the best HEA possible for Bullet.  I never once felt bad for Ethan because he had it coming to him.  Brad is such a great guy and he's always watching out for his band mates and friends and especially Val to make sure that she always had someone at her back if she needed it.

I gave Bullet a 3.5 Bar rating but I'm giving Fully Automatic a 4 because of Brad and getting to hear his story and relating to his pain.  He's genuine and fun and serious about his music and that makes him a Hero in my mind and definitely worth reading about.  I loved his story and the Epilogue is amazing!  Thank you Jade for giving us Brad's story and seeing the missing bits and pieces that landed these two people together forever!

Jade C. Jamison was born and raised in Colorado, moved from one city/town to the next, and she’s decided she likes it so much she wants to stay…although travel is not out of the question. She lives in a big town in Colorado (not unlike Winchester!) with her husband and four children. She is working on becoming a crazy cat lady. Okay, so maybe not.

Still want more? Jade has a bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Theater, a master’s degree in English, and a master of fine arts in Creative Writing. Obviously, she loves school and the student loan folks love her.

She works in human services by day, teaches English and creative writing at night, and—in between playing soccer mom and community leader—writes like a fiend. Someday soon, she’ll narrow it down to just writing, but let’s get all those kids off to college first.
