Zoey Stranford might’ve had a crush on the sexy boy next door since middle school, but she’s a woman now, and that crush has turned into a full blown case of lust. So why is it that at twenty nine, her libido decides to ramp into high gear and the only thing she can focus on is the intensely sexy, scorching hot boy next door who is definitely not a boy anymore?

The only problem is that Zoey and Kaleb have been best friends for as long as she can remember. Not to mention, Kaleb and his brothers are working on buying Stranford land to build a new resort, and she’s more than a little hesitant about his intentions.

Kaleb Walker has had his eye on Zoey for close to twenty years, but never before has he considered taking their friendship to the next level, no matter how many fantasies he’s had about her over the years. That doesn’t explain why Kaleb is hell bent on having her – in as many ways as possible.

Kaleb finds himself in a precarious situation. His brothers have nominated him to pursue Zoey’s father about purchasing the land needed to get their new resort off the ground. Finding out that Carl Stranford is on the brink of foreclosure and Zoey might just lose her house and the land, Kaleb now has to convince her to put aside her pride and let him help her.

It doesn’t take long before the flames start burning bright and hot, and the two of them burn up the nights and the days as they explore each other’s forbidden fantasies. But can their friendship survive a business transaction or the new friends with benefits clause? Or will they realize that they’ve been overlooking something much deeper that’s been right in front of them all along?

I seriously need to create Nicole her very own graphic for how I rate her books.  Five bars doesn't cover it accurately so let me share a story instead.  This past weekend I attended The Naughty Mafia Rocks Las Vegas 2013.  My husband and boys accompanied me to stay with family nearby.  On the drive home I cracked Kaleb open on the iPad and proceeded to read for the next 6 hours.  In 6 hours I was about 76% through the book and only put it down because my iPad was at 3% battery and I didn't want it to completely die on me (obviously so I could finish the book when I got home).  Upon putting the book down, my husband, bless his heart, turns to me and says, "On a scale of one to awesome, how good is your book?"  I respond, "Uhhh, awesome! It's Nicole Edwards." He replies, "Oh, it's Nicole Edwards, I didn't realized." LOL I thought that was pretty good stuff and pretty accurately describes why giving her 5 bars just doesn't do these books justice.

Kaleb is the first in the Alluring Indulgence series but you can't just pick Kaleb up and read it first if you haven't read any of the Club Destiny books.  Trust me on this, I read Zane (Book 2 of Alluring Indulgence) first and while you won't really be lost you definitely miss the little things from other books that are thrown in.  All of Nicole's books mix and mingle and you see characters from both series throughout her stories.

Kaleb is the third oldest of the Walker brothers and is in charge of demolition design for their company, Walker Demolition.  Kaleb has been in love with Zoey Stranford most of his life but never acted on it feeling that all she wanted from him was friendship.  Now at 29 years old, little Zoey Stranford is a full blown woman.  She owns her own cleaning business and even got married and has been divorced for a couple of years.  Having drifted apart for the five years Zoey was married, Kaleb and Zoey come back together as just friends and they both seem completely fine with that to one another.  But inwardly they both feel a heat toward the other and it's amazing neither of them has ever known how they both really feel.

One innocent telling of a fantasy later to her best friend Vanessa (V for short) has Kaleb feeling conflicted because the girl that always says she wanted just friendship from him is fantasizing about kissing him.  Not sure how to act around her after overhearing the brief admission, Kaleb kisses Zoey suddenly and while she acts freaked out, it instantly ignites a firestorm inside both of them that they can't deny for long.  In that one quick kiss their whole dynamic changes and Kaleb and Zoey embark on a steamy and very erotic road toward what they both hope will turn into a relationship instead of just "friends with benefits".

Now insert that the Walker brothers are all known around town for having a few kinks when it comes to how they like their sex and you get Gage, Kaleb's long time best friend. Kaleb and Gage have been known on occasion since high school to share their women and once Zoey admits that she has had a fantasy recently of being the cream filling to their sexy sandwich, the threesome is on!

Nicole never fails to give you exactly what you want.  She tugs at your heart strings, she punches you in the gut, she makes you stand up and yell "Slap the bitch!" (and trust me when you get there you'll know exactly what I'm talking about) and she always delivers the sexiest menagé scenes in the business.  This is why she is and will always be my Queen of Menagé a Trois!

About me... hmmm...

Ok, I've been asked to provide a little bit of "real" information about myself. That's harder to do than you think it is, especially for someone who has difficulty talking about themselves. ;) But, here goes...

I've been writing for as long as I can remember. Ever since I was a kid, I loved creative writing and as I got older, I got acquainted with those voices in my head and that led to putting my stories on paper. And now, here I am all these years later, spending my days doing what I love most. I decided to give myself over to writing full time in 2012 and I haven't looked back. I spent nearly 13 years in the corporate world and I have to say, this is a bit of a change (just a little) and I am loving every second of it.

I live in Texas with my husband and three amazing kids and our two beloved dogs. If I'm not writing, I'm usually reading. I devour everything I can get my hands on. I love romance of any type and being an Indie author myself, I'm always looking for new Indies to support. I haven't always been into reading, but about eleven years ago, I picked up a book - I'm pretty sure it was by Nora Roberts - and from there, I haven't stopped. Before I began writing full time, and my characters started taking up so much of my time, I was reading about 200 books a year. That has dwindled somewhat, but there isn't a day that goes by that I don't read.

An interesting fact... I don't watch television - aside from the occasional news anyway. I will go see a movie or two rarely, but for the most part, I get all of my entertainment from a book. Some of my favorite authors include J.R. Ward, Suzanne Brockmann, Lora Leigh, Jane Rylon, Lori Foster, and Jaci Burton just to name a few.
