When mega movie star and two time Academy Award winner, Austin Grainger voluntarily gave up his dazzling film career, his adoring fan base thought he’d lost his mind. For Austin, the seclusion of fifteen hundred acres in the middle of Texas sounds like paradise. No more cameras, paparazzi, or overzealous media to hound him every day and night. Little did the sexiest man alive know when one door closes, another usually opens. And Austin’s opened by way of a sexy, hot ranch owner right next door.

Kitt Kelly wasn’t your average rancher. He’s young, well educated and has hidden his sexuality for most of his life. When his long time wet dream materializes as his a new neighbor it threatens everything he holds dear. No way the ranching community would ever accept him if he came out. With every part of his life riding on the edge, can Kitt risk it all for a chance at love or will responsibility to his family heritage cost him his one chance at happiness?

Before I get started with the review, let's caveat this post by stating that this was my first official M/M only read.  I read Lover at Last by J.R. Ward earlier this year, but while it was M/M it had a lot of other non M/M story going on around it.  That being put out there, let's begin!

HOLY FREAKING HOT READ LADIES & GENTS!  Kindle Alexander is not only an extremely amazing story teller but she writes some of the hottest sex scenes I've ever read.  So hot you'll need to cool off the e-reader and might burn out a few of your BOBs.  The story is incredibly heart warming, beautiful and extremely sexy.

Kitt Kelly is a rancher who is fighting to save his families ranch and turn a profit for the first time in forever and Austin Grainger is a Hollywood star fleeing back to Texas to leave the limelight behind for good.  Kitt never plans to come out of the closet for fear that the Texas ranching community would disown him and his family and kill everything he has worked his whole life for.  Austin has had rumors of being gay swirling him for years even though to the world he has been married to Cara for most of his career.  But Austin doesn't care what the world thinks of him anymore, as long as they finally leave him alone.

The two men are different and at the same time, very much the same.  They have both been sexually attracted to one another since High School though neither ever acted on their feelings.  Now all these years later, on a cattle ranch in Texas, the two are brought together and the sparks definitely fly when Austin makes his move.  The two engage in an explosive, passionate and very secret relationship.  Austin is fiercely protective of Kitt and wants nothing more than to be with him for the long haul. But he has to convince the man he loves that he is never going back to his Hollywood way of life and that he intends to stick around and make a life with him.

The feelings these two beautiful men have for one another had my heart doing jumping jacks one minute and plunging to my stomach the next.  I was in fits when I thought there would be no happily ever after for the two but rest assured, it does happen and it just made me go, "Awwwww" in the end!  I am a sucker for a good romance, hot sex and a happily ever after and this story has all three!  I hope everyone loves it as much as I do! This is a definite must read and a re-read for years to come!

Best Selling Author Kindle Alexander is an innovative writer, and a genre-crosser who writes classic fantasy, romance, suspense, and erotica in both the male/male and male/female genres. It's always a surprise to see what's coming next!

I live in the suburbs of Dallas where it's true, the only thing bigger than an over active imagination, may be women's hair!

Usually, I try for funny. Humor is a major part of my life - I love to laugh, and it seems to be the thing I do in most situations - regardless of the situation, but jokes are a tricky deal... I don't want to offend anyone and jokes tend to offend. So instead I'm going to tell you about Kindle.

I tragically lost my sixteen year old daughter to a drunk driver. She had just been at home, it was early in the night and I heard the accident happen. I'll never forget that moment. The sirens were immediate and something inside me just knew. I left my house, drove straight to the accident on nothing more than instinct. I got to be there when my little girl died - weirdly, I consider that a true gift from above. She didn't have to be alone.

That time in my life was terrible. It's everything you think it would be times about a billion. I love that kid. I loved being her mother and I loved watching her grow into this incredibly beautiful person, both inside and out. She was such a gift to me. To have it all ripped away so suddenly broke me.

Her name was Kindle. Honest to goodness - it was her name and she died a few weeks before Amazon released their brand new Kindle ereader. She had no idea it was coming out and she would have finally gotten her name on something! Try finding a ruler with the name Kindle on it.. It never happened.

Through the course of that crippling event I was lucky enough to begin to write with a dear friend in the fan fiction world of Facebook. She got me through those dark days with her unwavering support and friendship. There wasn't a time she wasn't there for me. Sometimes together and sometimes by myself, we built a world where Kindle lives and stands for peace, love and harmony. It's its own kind of support group. I know without question I wouldn't be here today without her.
